Believe you can and you are halfway there

Welcome along to my new blog and my new fitness adventure.

For those that don’t know me, my name is Kirsty and I am mummy of two lovely children Isabelle (3) and Adam (7 months) and wife to Matt. I am currently on maternity leave and due to go back to work on 25 March 2014 *sobs*

Just before I fell pregnant with Adam, I was doing a blog about my training for Tough Mudder 2012 called 56 Days of Fitness. Adam was, shall we say, a happy accident that ended my 56 days of fitness prematurely and swapped it with 9 month of morning sickness.

Now that my husband has had the snip and it’s been confirmed that he can no longer give me any more surprises, I wanted to start blogging again and take you on my new fitness adventure to get fit....for me and for Tough Mudder 2013 (I had to sign up after letting the team down last year, I owe them a Tough Mudder!)

So here we are, two babies later, my body at the moment is not the way that I want and add to that how busy it is with two children (more on that excuse later), my nutrition isn't the way I want it either, so I have enlisted the help of my friend, and personal trainer, Esther Farrington Transform Personal Training to whip me into shape… in 12 weeks...

With my last blog I did a daily blog with progress pictures every day. Now, as much as I would love to be able to do that, unless we get a 8th day in the week, that won't be possible, but as a compromise, I will do minimum one blog a week and include with that progress pictures (but come on, lets be fair, all that know me know I can talk so the reality is that I will blog more than once a week).

So, the 12 weeks start in January with my first meeting with Esther for stats (eek) on 2nd and my first training session on the 6th. It is then I will unleash all the details, weight, measurements and the dreaded before picture.

As a taster, here is the epic bump (and epic everything else to be fair) just before Adam was born (3 days before to be exact)... (that aside, isn't have babies amazing! I grew a baby in my actual belly!?) :)

Until next time...
